I know, I know. We love our cellphones, I know!
"But it's easier to carry!"
"I can be anywhere and access my classes!"
"I have all my apps on my cellphone"
Look, the truth is, we know that cell phones can be convenient. Yes, they might be more accessible and/or affordable than a computer. But are you really getting your money's worth when watching classes through your phone? Don't you think that if you're studying, learning, in a virtual classroom environment, it would benefit you to have a proper setup in which you can take notes while watching the lectures? Read properly shared screens? See all of your classmates at once? Even hold yourself accountable in case you get distracted?
There is a reason why we've never been allowed to have cellphones in class growing up. But if you're not convinced yet, here are a few more:

Cellphone usage tends to be prohibited during in-person class time, and therefore, in order to foster the best online learning environment possible, we want to carry on these rules to our online class etiquette for your benefit.
