Everyone likes to be acknowledged for their accomplishments. As an international student, you have the opportunity to work hard on your studies to earn grades that will put you on the Dean's List which is considered a high honor for any student. Last quarter we had 136 students placed on this list at Approach. We are so proud of their achievement, and we hope they keep up the good work.

This past spring quarter brought some very significant challenges, and it is thus even more impressive they have achieved this exceptional level of academic success during this difficult period. We want to share with you some testimonies from current students who are thriving as they work towards their goals in life and overcoming challenges along the way.

  • What is a Dean’s List and why does it matter?

A Dean’s List is an academic award, or notation, used to recognize a high level of academic excellence. It is an honorary role assigned to the top students. Appearing on the dean's list shows how much hard work and dedication someone has put into their education. At Approach, the students who have been committed to their studies, are passionate about learning, and have a clear goal for their future have already been nominated by teachers and friends to join our Ambassador's program next quarter.

This program starts on July 6th, and students will participate in a VIP mentorship experience designed to help them achieve their academic and professional goals faster. Not only that, being a student ambassador qualifies you for a variety of benefits that could persist through your future education, including scholarships and professional career.

Do you want to do well enough to be placed on the Dean’s List next quarter? We have prepared some tips so you can organize yourself all the way through your learning journey.
